When would I need Truework?
There are a number of instances in which you may need to verify your income and/or employment information, including applying for a loan, mortgage, or new job.
How does Rippling work with Truework?
Rippling partners with Truework to automate verifications while giving employees control of their data. You can read more about the partnership here. Truework is automatically enabled for every employee. To update your verification preferences, visit 'Account Settings' in the Rippling app.
How much does this cost?
Truework is free for both employees and employers.
It is Truework's policy to never charge employees for requests. If their verifier chooses to charge them for a Truework request, you may send them to our Support Team (email@example.com), and we will address the issue accordingly. Please note, however, that we unfortunately cannot control whether or not a verifier chooses to pass a charge back to the employee.
I don't want to use Truework, how do I opt-out?
You can change your preference by going to your ‘Account Settings’ in Rippling. Please keep in mind that disabling Truework will make it more difficult when applying for a mortgage or other loan.
Where do I send my verifier? (Bank, Landlord etc.)
When you apply for a loan or other transaction that requires employment and income verification, direct your verifier (i.e. bank) to submit a request on Truework.com.
What happens with my data?
As a Credit Reporting Agency (CRA), Truework is bound by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). This means that Truework must store data for auditing purposes. Data is stored in a secure, offsite cloud infrastructure that is SOC2/3 compliant. This data center is monitored 24/7 and access is strictly controlled to authorized individuals only. Data backups are held in multiple secure locations to ensure redundancy and availability. Truework never shares employment or income data without your consent.
Can you generate an employment letter for me?
No, this is not a feature that is currently supported through this partnership.
